Chris Rand
Chris Rand grew up in Swanage on the South Coast of Dorset where he started playing the saxophone at 14. He played with various local bands and musicians around the Dorset area before going on to graduate from Cardiff University with a degree in music in 2006.
Chris teaches saxophone, clarinet and piano in the Bournemouth area and currently studies under ex-Art Blakey Sax player Jean Toussaint. Recently enrolled on a Post-Grad in Jazz performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, he plays with his own Quartet and Blues Bands working alongside Pianist Guy Gardner and also guests with bands such as renegade.
