Mark Crown
Mark Crown has played the trumpet since he was 9 and studied on a scholarship at the Pimlico School during which he progressed into jazz. Currently a student of Chris Batchelor at Trinity College of Music, he has played lead trumpet for musical productions such as Hot Mikado and The Wiz. Mark has also played alongside artists such as Jason Yarde, Harry Brown, Philip Harper, Denys Baptiste and plays with the Lifeforce Big Band, Hot Orange Big Band & Courtney Pine’s Afropeans. Currently a member of the celebrated Tomorrow’s Warriors, he is diversifying his range by working with the likes of Estelle, Terri Walker, Ty, Finley Quaye and 4Hero. Mark also plays the piano and violin.
